We recently talked to Matt and Erin Loveless from Owasco, NY, about their purchase and installation of a Gablewick garage.
Why did they choose a Gablewick? Was the building process easy?

The Loveless Family’s Gablewick Story
“We Need a Solution!”
Matt and Erin Loveless had lived on their property in Owasco, NY, for 15 years, and they had never had a garage. For some time, they had been tired of housing their vehicles outside in the elements. They were tired of not having enough storage space because they had outgrown their house. They needed a solution. That’s when they discovered… the Gablewick Modular Garage.
They discovered the Gablewick while driving by the Breezy Acres Sheds lot in Auburn, NY. Erin said, “They had always had sheds, but we saw that they were now doing garages too. We stopped and looked, and it was just what we wanted.”
What they really wanted was a two-story design: room for overhead storage in addition to a place for two cars.
As to what made the Gablewick stand out above other choices, Erin observed, “There was more headroom upstairs. Some of the upstairs [in other modular garages] aren’t really that big. This is more open.” Another big attraction for Erin? “Being able to customize it the way that we wanted to.”

The Ordering and Build Process
As for ordering, building, and delivery, “It was an easy process from start to finish,” Erin commented. “We picked out the colors and added our upgraded windows.” (Insulated windows is an option on the Gablewick and is recommended for those who may someday want to heat the entire building.)
“They were easy to work with,” Erin continued. “They let you know when things were going to be done and they were done. Everything was done in a timely manner. Everyone was very friendly.”
Delivery and Setup of the Gablewick
The Loveless family had been responsible for preparing the site and pouring the foundation. They notified Breezy Acres once the foundation was complete, and a two-week concrete curing time was allowed to elapse before the Gablewick garage was delivered, ensuring maximum foundation quality.
The Gablewick garage was ready for delivery in late October 2024. Because of the size, special permits were needed, but Breezy Acres handled all of that smoothly and delivered it on time.
The Gablewick was delivered with the bottom story in two sections. Once the first story was assembled, the second story was pulled up into place. Lastly, the Breezy Acres crew installed the roof.
Entire building time from start to finish? Just 3 days!
Erin says, “I was impressed with how fast it went up.”

Life With Their New Gablewick Garage
So how has their new garage helped them? Erin said, “It has helped us de-clutter. We’ve outgrown our house. You can never have too much storage.”
What surprised Erin the most throughout the whole Gablewick buying experience? “How quick and easy it was,” she said, then added– “and how quick it went up.”
And the neighbors definitely noticed the new addition to the Loveless property. “We’ve had a lot of compliments and many people inquiring. We’ve even had people just drive by and stop to ask questions about it.” She expects that a number of these will end up contacting Breezy Acres about sheds or modular garages of their own.
And the family will definitely not forget Breezy Acres in the future. “If we need any more buildings, we will definitely contact them. Maybe if we ever get a pool, we will need a pool shed.”
She can’t say enough about the entire process. “We had a great experience with them. We would definitely recommend them.”
